One of a kind Barbie doll commission

My interpretation of the Goddess Freya of Norse mythology. Inspiration for this design was taken from several photos of the Freya that my client found online. I compiled elements of both photos to come up with this concept. Green was his choice of color for the dress. The shield and faux leather armor are my own concept and design. This doll was a unique challenge and a joy to make. I sewed two other prototypes of the dress before choosing this one. I thank him for the opportunity to create this unique doll.
